Actually, Jim voluntarily stepped down after personally recommending Fenir for the role. Having seen that our favourite doorman had not only started, but also closed down 3629 businesses in 2 years, without filing a single set of accounts, he just had to make him an offer he couldn't refuse. He also made sure there was complete media silence about the news, as he didn't want all the other banks to get jealous that they'd manage to recruit such a talent - that's why you won't find any reports of the appointment anywhere!
