A couple of days ago, we had a submission to the from an IP address in Leeds, claiming to be a Private Investigator.
Unsurprisingly, when asked for proof of ID, we didn't hear from him again.

Private investigators in the UK are bound by several laws and regulations, including: The Private Security Industry Act 2001, The Security Industry Authority (SIA), The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), The Data Protection Act 2018, and The Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 (RIPA).
It is illegal in the UK for someone who is not licenced, to impersonate a Private Investigator.
