We're not sure how Ryland can see over the steering wheel of the G-Wagon. We do however, know he used a fake Dubai drivers license to rent one and never paid the leasing company ( £7k car hire bill, no sign of payment). Needless to say, driving illegally is another crime the police can add to their list.
But why does Ryland do this? Is it to appear wealthy, despite begging his neighbours for food? Is it to convince people he owns entire apartment blocks prior to his scam rental activities? Or is it something else- a feeling of insignificance somewhere?
We may never know. What we do know is the only G-wagon Ryland can afford and legally drive is available at all leading toy stores. Look how happy he is on this one.

Oddly enough, our pint size Manlet suits the toy version more.
